Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments, the critically hailed, Booker Prize shortlisted new sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale, became an instant bestseller. Fane Productions presented a unique theatrical event with one of our greatest living writers. Filmed live on the stage of the National Theatre in London, this fascinating event featured a wide-ranging interview with Margaret and striking readings from the new novel performed by actors Ann Dowd, Lily James and Sally Hawkins.

Produced in cooperation with the Anne Frank Foundation, the event cleverly re-tells the story of Anne Frank’s life through the pages of her diary, guided by Academy-Award winning actress Helen Mirren. Audiences witnessed an exact reconstruction of Anne’s room in Amsterdam, part of the secret annex where the Frank family hid for two years before being discovered and deported to concentration camps. Anne’s writings vividly capture what was happening to a Europe in flames at the time, about Nazism, and her fears, hopes and dreams, and also provides context for understanding our own present and future through the experiences of the survivors who lived to tell their own parallel stories of persecution and deportation.

For four consecutive years (2009 - 2012), BY Experienced distributed BBC's Last Night of the Proms LIVE to movie theaters across Canada, and on a delayed basis in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

In 2012, art lovers around the world experienced a high-definition walk-through of the once-in-a-lifetime exhibition "Leonardo da Vinci:  Painter at the Court of Milan", captured at the U.K.'s National Gallery.  This was the first of four presentations of fine art in cinemas BY Experience distributed, in conjunction with Seventh Arts.

On June 23, 2012, after more than 45 million records sold worldwide and 14 number one singles in the UK, Westlife said goodbye to their millions of fans with their last-ever concert beamed to cinemas across the UK, Ireland, and select European countries with delayed screenings in Australia, Estonia, Hong Kong and South Africa.

Barrymore, starring Academy-Award Winner Christopher Plummer is a live film based on the play by William Luce.  Barrymore is the portrayal of acclaimed American actor John Barrymore, one of the greatest Shakespearean actors of all time.  Shown in cinemas in 2012.                                                                                      

Des McAnuff's production of Shakespeare's The Tempest was captured live at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Canada, followed by a Q&A captured live in New York.  Screened in 2012.                                                                                                             

On Tuesday, August 30th, 2011, Red Hot Chili Peppers debuted their new album "I'm With You" in concert, plus select greatest hits, in a special cinematic event.  Captured live and broadcast to movie screens the same evening, on a delayed broadcast.

WBEZ Chicago's hit radio show THIS AMERICAN LIFE with Ira Glass was staged and broadcast live to movie screens for three exclusive cinematic events in 2008, 2009 and 2012.   Presented in cinemas by Chicago Public Radio, Public Radio International, and BY Experience

Directed by and Starring Brian Bedford, Oscar Wilde's hilarious play was presented by Roundabout Theatre Company, L.A. Theatre Works and BY Experience, captured live from the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway.                                            

The celebrated radio show was broadcast live in February and again in October 2010 from the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota to cinemas across the U.S. and Canada.

For one night only, metalheads around the world experienced history: On Tuesday, June 22, 2010, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax performed on one stage together.  Through an exclusive broadcast to cinemas, fans around the world were part of this historic concert event.

On October 2009, Robbie Williams opened the BBC Electric Proms with a live performance from London to cinemas throughout Europe and on a delayed basis to Australia, Mexico, New Zealand and South Africa.  The performance featured material from Robbie's album REALITY KILLED THE VIDEO STAR.

TimesTalks LIVE was a pilot program to cinemas and performing arts centers in North America featuring intimate discussions with today's top talents and thinkers from The Times Center in New York.  Two events in 2009 featured authors John Irving and Stephen King.

The St. Olaf Christmas Festival is one of the oldest musical celebrations of Christmas in the U.S., featuring hymns, carols, choral works and orchestral selections. St. Olaf was the first college to broadcast a live concert to movie theaters in high-definition. 

In September 2007, David Gilmour launched his new DVD project with two exclusive cinema events in Europe and North America, both of which featured a live performance, an 85 minute highlights program of Gilmour's DVD and a Q&A with fans.  Over 20,000 fans attended in 8 countries, resulting in #1 DVD debuts.
