The Met: Live in HD

BY Experience is the Worldwide HD Distribution Representative of The Met: Live in HD, the Metropolitan Opera's award-winning and critically-acclaimed series of live high-definition transmissions in movie theaters, performing arts centers, and other venues.  From the inception of the series in 2006 to the present, BY Experience has helped shape and coordinate the Met's cinema distribution efforts, reaching over 70 countries.  Over one hundred eighty live events have been distributed to cinemas globally to date, with over 33 million tickets sold.  The 2026-27 season features eight live events, three beloved by audiences “encore” titles, and kicks off September 19, 2026 with “Twenty Years of the Met in Cinemas: An Anniversary Celebration” and runs through June 5, 2027.
