David Gilmour launched his new DVD project with two exclusive cinema events in Europe and North America, both of which featured a live performance, an 85 minute highlights program of Gilmour's DVD, and a Q&A with fans.

The events on September 6 and 15, 2007 were attended by over 20,000 fans in eight countries, resulting in #1 DVD debuts.
